The shape of the individual feathers is unusual for genetic capes in so far as they have a taper more in keeping with Indian hackles. The capes themselves are deceptively well endowed with a wide range of sizes and hackle. The feathers from these Veniard Premium Cock Neck capes are long with stiff barbs and are mainly tied as hackle. The feathers can additionally be used for tail patterns.
