The Lost Fly
Pheasant Tails Natural
Pheasant Tails Natural
Pheasant Tails are an absolute must have on every fly tying bench. I don’t think I ever sit down to tie patterns without going to the pheasant tails at some point. Obviously, these are the essential element in the Pheasant Tail Nymph pattern, but you can and will use them in a wide range of patterns for textured bodies, wing casing and tails.
I have large quantities of these available and try to only sell ones that are of a certain standard. They all vary, but these range from 12-14 inches each and display great natural patterns on the outer side of the feather. Feathers are cut in half to allow them to fit in postage sizes, but no fibers are lost, you still get just as many nymphs out of each feather.
SALE IS FOR FOUR (4) TAIL FEATHERS
