Hedron Strung Fuzzy Fiber - Tan
Hedron Strung Fuzzy Fiber is a soft, thin, crimped fiber strung like saddle hackle or marabou that is a superior fiber to wool. This crimped synthetic fiber is hydrophobic, so it adds bulk to your fly and sheds water at the same time. These are great fibers for building bodies and heads on big freshwater streamers and saltwater flies. There have been plenty of requests for this product, so Troutlore is proud to be able to offer it to Australian flytyers, with Hedron Strung Fuzzy Fiber now kept in stock and ready to ship.
Hedron products are used for dressing flies, jigs and spinnerbaits. Perfect for wings, tails, ribbing and bodies. Use as an accent underwing on any hairwing steelhead/salmon pattern. Used on many steelhead and (what seems like all) Alaska patterns. And great for all number of saltwater patterns and big native fly patterns too.
Contains approximately 2″ of strung fibers, 10″ in length.
Of course, if you want to create all sorts of natural looking streamer fly patterns, then our ever growing range of natural hairs and furs is the ideal place to start for something different to the synthetic option.
