Griffin Whip Finisher – Non Rotating

The Griffin whip finisher is perfect for dry fly patterns as you work with the thread out from the head, not from the side like a Matarelli style finisher. I like the Matarelli for all patterns except dry flies. This style finisher wins hands down….originally called the Thompson Whip Finisher.

This has a spring design that allows you to add an extra wrap and still release the tool with ease. Slim and lightweight and made from stainless steel. Full instructions included.

Note : This is the non-rotating version, the more traditional Thompson styled whip finisher.
