The Pheasant Tail Nymph has for many decades been a classic, trusted trout catcher. Nowadays, we see many different variants of that classic, including this Euro style jig version. With the addition of a CDC collar for movement and air bubble catching allure, this fly turns the traditional Pheasant Tail Nymph upside down for a wide gape, jig hook. If you’re not catching fish on this fly, something is really wrong! If there’s mayflies in the stream, this fly will catch fish.

  • Tied with quality barbless hooks
  • Tungsten bead head for a fast sink rate
  • Now sold as single units per hook size. Buy as few or as many as you like!

Of course, if you want to tie this pattern yourself, Troutlore offers all the quality materials for this pattern.
