Bobbin Threader – Brass Handle

This brass handle bobbin threader makes loading any bobbin a swift process without the need to fuss about trying to feed the thread through the tube by eyesight alone. Insert it through the eye of the bobbin until the wire loop opens out on the spool end, slide the thread through the wire loop and then pull it back through the bobbin tube.

Suitable for bobbins with tubes up to 3″ length. If your bobbin has a longer tube, we recommend the Loon Ergo Bobbin Threader with it’s extra long wire loop.

This is an absolute must have tool if you are working with Flymen Surface Seducer Double Barrel Popper Heads. If you are tying big poppers for bass, cod or saltwater species, this tool makes the process even faster and easier and ensures you get consistent results with all your legs application. The puller works with just about any material, but certainly goes through foam with ease. The slightly larger flanged head to the tool helps the legs move through as it widens the foam slightly on the return, allowing it to close up when pulled through, locking in your rubber legs so they won’t go anywhere. A spot of UV resin or super glue at the entry and exit point will ensure your legs never slip, no matter how many false casts you make in a day. You’ll lose the fly before you lose the legs.
