The Lost Fly supplies select fly tying materials, lovingly prepared in Tasmania, for the Australian fly tying market, including the new Lost Fly Bugger Chenille, now available in a limited quantities in the Large size. This is the same chenille that has been widely utilized in the body of the bass Vampire fly, an Australian classic that needs no introduction. With the perfect colour, just the right amount of sparkle and ideal length to create the body silhouette, this is THE chenille for tying Bass Vampire flies.

This is a course, synthetic flash chenille that is ideal for wrapping bodies on bass vampires, large buggers and similar flies. This offers plenty of movement in the water and gives off a great glimmer as it catches plenty of light.

We have secured a good amount of packs of this chenille from The Lost Fly, but once this shipment is sold out, it will not be available again. So, if you want to tie Bass Vampires, now and in the future, we suggest purchasing a few packs and squirreling them away for a rainy day. Once these are sold out, that will be it.
