Description

This is a complete tying kit with all the materials required to tie 24 flies in this Parachute Adams pattern, plus there will be lots left over, so additional hooks can be added at a later date to get even more flies from these materials. The Parachute Adams is a fly that should be in every flyfisher’s fly box. Why? Because it catches fish. Perfect for a dun hatch, with the low riding body sitting in the surface film, it is just as effective as a general searching and attractor pattern.

This kit comes with both colours of hackle as set out in the original Adams fly pattern, in a custom Lost Fly mixed Saddle Hackle Pack made just for this kit. The standard version of the Parachute Adams makes use of a white parachute post material for a more natural look.

Included in this pack are the following :

Ahrex FW500 Dry Fly Hooks #14

Dry Fly Saddle Hackle – Grizzly & Brown Adams Pack

Brown Saddle Hackle Tailing Feathers

UNI Thread – Grey

Electric Wool Dubbing – Wombat Grey

Parachute Indicator Post – White

All materials are also available to purchase as individual items in the Troutlore store. Just click on the product above to link through to the individual product listings. There are a range of other packs available in the Troutlore store, matching up to flies that are also available for sale, so please feel free to browse and find one that suits your needs.

We recommend using a good head cement to hold the final thread ties together for added durability. Head cement, UV resin and UV torches are sold separately to the materials kits. And of course, we stock a big range of fly tying tools all kept in stock and ready to ship to Australian fly tiers. Aside from all the Hareline products, we carry plenty of brand name tools. These can be found in the  Tools Category of the Troutlore Flytying Store. If you can’t find a product you are specifically looking for, get in touch. We will see if it can be sourced, and kept in stock. Plus, you can keep up to date with new releases through our newsletter and social media outlets.
