This is a complete tying kit with all the materials required to tie 24 flies in this Natural Possum Emerger pattern. Plus, there will be lots left over, so additional hooks can be added at a later date to get even more flies from these materials.

The Natural Possum Emerger is a Tasmanian staple that works well in any trout waters around the country. A killer fly for stillwater when mayflies are happening, but an equally versatile pattern on the streams. A combination of natural New Zealand possum tail and possum dubbing creates a lightweight fly that floats like cork whilst sitting half drowned in the surface film. The natural version is ideal for sighting when fishing on water that is like glass, the blonde version gives the flyfisher a little more visual when the water surface is broken and in low light conditions.
