Hedron Flashabou Magnum – The metallic tinsel flash that started it all, setting industry standards for every metallic flash product! Hedron Flashabou Magnum features marabou action for flies and lures. Super strong fiber won’t matte as it swims and flows through the water, beckoning fish. Hedron Magnum Flashabou fibers are twice as wide, strong and long as the original Flashabou’s. Wide fibers increase drastically light reflecting properties in the water. The wider fibers also doubles the strength and increases the rigidity of the fibers. Magnum Flashabou fibers are strong enough to withstand the sharpest of teeth and that’s why these long fibers are perfect for large pike flies and other salt and fresh water baits.

Flashabou is used for dressing flies, jigs and spinnerbaits. Perfect for wings, tails, ribbing and bodies. Use as an accent underwing on any hairwing steelhead/salmon pattern.  Used on many steelhead and (what seems like all) Alaska patterns. And great for all number of saltwater patterns and big native fly patterns too. Due to its simplicity, the strong fibers are also very well suited for clear water and waters with high fishing pressure. Tied in with a dubbing loop, you can make wonderful, voluminous collars and bodies!

Just like Flashabou original in a wider and stronger cut. Contains approximately 400 strands, 1/32″ wide by 20″ long.
