Hareline Variegated Chenille is a medium sized fly tying chenille with a buggy speckled appearance, often likened to that grizzly look found in so many popular fly tying feathers. Required for the famous Brindle Bug pattern, and great for Woolly Buggers with grizzly dyed hackle to suit. The first color in the title refers to the background color, the second is the alternating colour bands.

Variegated color pattern offers a “grizzly” contrast that can make your fly stand out from solid-colored offerings. This is a standard rayon medium chenille in a size that will fit most needs. Chenille is a classic body material for thousands of fly patterns, but the variegated options give those flies that little extra pop and variety in colour tones. Just like standard medium chenille from Hareline the absorbent nature of this chenille gives your streamer and nymph bodies a nice buggy look when wet, and it doesn’t restrict your flies from sinking through the water column to get to where the fish are..

Hareline Variegated Chenille is an easy to store, and easy to wind, carded chenille makes creating variegated fly bodies a snap. Available in the Medium size, it works well for both nymph and streamer bodies, as well as a range of saltwater patterns.
