Description
The Ahrex SA250 Saltwater Shrimp hook is carried over from the NS150 Shrimp in the Nordic Salt-series. We’ve modified the bend slightly and opened the hook gap a little, making the hook very well suited for shrimp flies for bonefish and other species, as well as bend-back designs.
A-Steel Finish
Available in size 2 – 8.

The Ahrex SA250 Saltwater Shrimp Hooks come packaged in equal quantities of 12 hooks per pack for each size. Ahrex Hooks have their roots in the Scandinavian fly-fishing tradition. Anglers and the waters they fish in inspire us to create the best hooks possible. Ahrex Hooks are made without compromise – designed by Scandinavian fly-fishermen for fishing all over the world. They are using innovative technology and the best materials available for each specific hook, such as trailer hooks.
At Troutlore, we are proud to have been partnered with Ahrex Hooks since they first launched in the worldwide market. We have continuously made Ahrex hooks available to the Australian fly tying community since they became available and do our best to keep all models in stock at all times. This includes the Nordic Salt range, Predator range, Predator Stinger range, Freshwater range, Home Run range and now the Saltwater range. If you can’t find the hook you are looking for, please get in touch and we will do our best to source it for you or suggest a selection of possible alternatives. Plus, you can keep up to date with new releases through our newsletter and social media outlets. Happy tying!
