For those Hackle Hoarders amongst you, you’ll be excited to know that this month’s shipment of Whiting Farms feathers included a great selection of hackles in both capes and saddles. Best of all. there were a number of Whiting Cree Saddle options in there. After discussions with a few of you online, I made the call to squirrel away a Hebert Miner Cree Saddle for my own collection, so sadly that will not be found on the site for sale. But there are plenty of other great picks to get onto.

For those of you with a penchant for the speckled stuff, there were a couple of Speckle Badger saddles, including one special Midge saddle that has already been snapped up. But there are some other badger goodies, like the Silver Badger and Golden Badger capes that have a bit of speckling going on amongst some of the feathers too.

But, it’s not all just dry fly tying goodness here, like the Whiting Cree Saddle that has everyone talking. There’s been a refreshing of our Schlappen stocks, with many of the colours now back and ready to go. Plus, we’ve added a range of Coq De Leon hen saddles and refreshed our stocks of Whiting Red Label hen saddles too. So, there’s plenty of exciting stuff in there for those of you tying wet flies as we head into the cooler months.

Oh, and for those of you looking for some really special buys, there are a few Silver Grade Whiting Red Label Saddles and one very nice Platinum Grade Grizzly Saddle that has to be seen to be believed.
