This is a complete tying kit with all the materials required to tie 25 flies in this Easy Damsel pattern, plus there will be lots left over, so additional hooks and bead chain can be added at a later date to get even more flies from these materials. The Easy Damsel is a pattern I have fished for many years with great success in winter lakes, especially around shallow weed beds. When searching larger water, I often fish a pair in tandem, tied in different colour and separated bu about 18 inches of tippet. It’s quick and easy to tie, as the name suggests and it is extremely effective when they are on the damsels, yet still works as a general searching pattern when there is no distinguishable bug activity going on.

This pattern is the perfect alternative when you want a smaller sized, more natural looking damsel option to just heaving around a Woolly Bugger all day. It sinks slower, has a slimmer profile and moves with less of a jigging action.
