Well, it was a short-lived announcement a couple of weeks ago when we took another shipment of Stonfo bobbins and let you all know via Instagram and Facebook about their availability. That lasted all of about a four days before we got cleaned out of what is proving to be one of the more popular bobbins in fly tying today.

So, it is with a little bit of hesitation that I am pleased to announce that more Stonfo bobbins are back in stock today, with even more on their way due to arrive in about 5 days time. So, for those of you looking for a last minute Christmas gist, these are sure to keep any fly tyer happy. The best thing is , even if someone already has one or two or three bobbins on their tying desk, they will always happily have a few more. And who wouldn’t want an upgrade from a simple Y-Frame bobbin to one like the Stonfo bobbins?

Of course, we keep the three different models in stock at all times (when supply can keep up with demand). There is the disc drag Elite Bobbin, the classic and most popular of the Stonfo models. Then the Compact Bobbin, with a shorter tube than the Elite Bobbin. And to round out the collection, the Saltwater Bobbin offers a larger diameter tube for bigger threads and heavy binding work. So, no matter what the task at hand, there is a Stonfo bobbin for the job. And for those of you who just like the classic style of bobbin, be sure to check out the Stonfo Standard Bobbin.
