Now, I know that I have been bantering on about dubbing a little bit of late, but this week’s latest product news does certainly command for me to pipe on for at least the next few paragraphs I am sure. Not wanting to get on my high horse, I’ll warn you now to get ready for stoner puns aplenty as I proudly announce the newest product from Spirit River – UV2 Hemp Dubbing.

Information from Spirit River themselves about this new product goes like this :

“Our unique UV2 dyed process over a medium fine hemp fiber makes for a dubbing that has a tremendous bugginess to it. As we all know Oregon grows some of the best… and now you can make some very special flies.  The first time I touched it we found the hemp was lumpy, coarse and basically unusable. The research paid off when we finally found a hemp base that was highly processed. It cost more but dubbed on thread great. We then added a sweet blend of the UV2 Enhancer as we do on all our UV2 dubbing. And lo n behold we came up with a pretty easy to use dubbing. Once its brushed out is gets very buggy.”

So, without wasting any time, before it all goes up in smoke, we here at Troutlore have another shipment from Spirit River on it’s way including all ten colours of the new UV2 Hemp Dubbing which should be available in the Troutlore store in about 10 days after this has been published.  You’ll be able to find them in the Spirit River category of the site very soon.
